Sponsoring a Kennel is a great way to show your love of animals while supporting Friends of Stafford County Animal Shelter’s mission of improving the quality of life for the Shelter’s pets and helping them find their forever home.

Every day animals in need of help arrive at the Stafford County Animal Shelter. Some just need food, housing and exercise while they wait for their new homes. Others need more – veterinary care, socialization, training, time and patience. All of them need hope.

Do you want to help animals in the care of your local shelter, but don’t have time to volunteer or the space to adopt a new family member? Is your company looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community? Then the Kennel Sponsorship Program is for you!

Friends of Stafford County Animal Shelter invites you to help support the animals, who for a time must call the shelter home, by sponsoring a kennel. We rely solely on contributions to provide the services these animals desperately need.

​

Every day can be “Bring Your Pet to Work Day” when your business sponsors a kennel. A plaque with your name and a message will be displayed on your kennel. As a thank you, you will also receive a similar plaque with your name and message, along with a photo of a dog or cat residing in your kennelto proudly display at home or work. 

 

 

How it Works

​

Your contribution helps cover the cost of treats, enrichment toys, basic health checks, flea and tick treatment, vaccinations and adoption fees. Providing a shelter pet with a clean, comfortable kennel, treats, toys and basic medical care helps reduce their stress during their stay at the shelter. Those who visit the shelter will know that your business cares about our community’s homeless animals.   Friends of Stafford County Animal Shelter is a Section 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and donations are tax deductible.

 

 

Kennel Sponsorship Options

​

• “Cat Apartment” - $2,500 per year includes: 12’ x 12” plaque on kennel, 6” x 8” wooden plaque to display at business, logo and link to your website on FOSCAS website, quarterly Facebook mention and once per year in our annual report.

• “Cat Condo” - $1,500 per year includes: 8”x8” plaque on kennel, 6” x 8” wooden plaque to display at business, logo and link to your website on FOSCAS website, quarterly Facebook mention and once per year in our annual report.

​

• “Large Dog Kennel” - $1,500 per year includes: 8”x8” plaque on kennel, 6” x 8” wooden plaque to display at business, logo and link to your website on FOSCAS website, quarterly Facebook mention and once per year in our annual report.

• “Small Dog Kennel” - $1,000 per year includes: 8”x8” plaque on kennel, 6” x 8” wooden plaque to display at business, logo and link to your website on FOSCAS website, quarterly Facebook mention and once per year in our annual report.

• “Reptile and Small Mammal Room” - $2,500 per year includes: 12” x 12” plaque on kennel, 6” x 8” wooden plaque to display at business, logo and link to your website on FOSCAS website, quarterly Facebook mention and once per year in our annual report.
