PLEASE HELP FUND US SPAY / NEUTER

Friends of Stafford County Animal Shelter is assisting the shelter increase the number of adoptions by providing the funds to spay/neuter shelter pets.  Often times, if we can fully vaccinate and spay/neuter an animal that has been in the shelter for an extended period of time this will increase the interest in the cat or dog and help them find their forever home.

The shelter is also working hard to bring adoptable animals to events out in the community.  The majority of the events require that the shelter cats and dogs be vaccinated and spayed/neutered in order to attend.

Friends of Stafford County Animal Shelter is helping support the shelter in their efforts by providing the funds needed to spay/neuter and vaccinate these cats and dogs.  We are reaching out to our supporters to ask for assistance.  We need to raise $75/pet to cover the vet costs.  Know that by donating, you are making a huge difference in the life of each one of these special shelter pets.

By spaying or neutering your pet, you’ll help control the pet homelessness crisis, which results in millions of healthy dogs and cats being euthanized in the United States each year simply because there aren’t enough homes to go around.  For more information on the importance of spaying or neutering your pet, please visit https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/general-pet-care/spayneuter-your-pet.

As always, thank you for your support! The shelter animals are grateful.

{Any additional funds will be used for future SCAS pet needs.}
