Help needed for Dorothy

Dorothy is a sweet 8 year old Beagle that was found as a stray. The Stafford County Animal Shelter believes that Dorothy was likely someone's breeding dog. After years of birthing puppies Dorothy now has severe inflammation of her mammary glands. She was taken to White Oak Animal Hospital and received pain medication and anti-inflammatory medicine to help with the swelling. Dorothy also has a grade 3 heart murmur. It is possible Dorothy will need surgery as she is not responding to the first round of medications. We are accepting donations for Dorothy to provide for her medications, surgery and spay. Her estimated needs are $500.

{Any additional funds raised will be placed in a general fund that will be available to the shelter for emergency vet bills for animals in their care. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the Stafford County Animal Shelter pets.}
